City timelapse
Clouds over rooftops or a busy crossing compressed into seconds, from a tripod or while walking.
Follow the screens in order. Each card shows the gesture to reach the screen, then the settings to set.
1Camera view
How to get there: Liveview after power on (tap the on-screen icons)
Shooting mode
Set to: Timelapse (static) or Motionlapse (moving)
Why: Both are shooting modes named in the manual. ActiveTrack is unavailable in them, and Audio Backup is not supported in Timelapse.
Tap the mode icon at the bottom left, swipe to choose, then tap the mode or swipe up to return. ActiveTrack is unavailable in Panorama, Timelapse, Motionlapse and SpinShot.
2Parameter settings
How to get there: Swipe up from the bottom of the camera view
Parameters of the current shooting mode
Set to: Interval and duration as the scene needs
Why: Timelapse parameters live under swipe-up; the manual leaves values to the interface. Clouds: longer interval; traffic: short. Craft recommendation, not from the manual.
The manual states that parameters differ per shooting mode and refers to the actual interface; it lists no values. Set resolution, frame rate and similar options here, then swipe down from the top to return to the liveview.
3Image and audio settings
How to get there: Swipe left in the camera view
PRO parameters
Set to: Tap PRO: lock exposure
Why: Craft recommendation, not from the manual. Auto exposure between frames causes flicker in the final clip.
Tap PRO to adjust the pro parameters. The manual does not list them; exposure-related values are set here on the camera.
4Control center
How to get there: Swipe down from the top of the camera view
Gimbal mode
Set to: Tilt Locked
Why: Locks the tilt so a long static shot does not drift; suits lateral moves for Motionlapse.
Follow (default) suits most scenes incl. vlogs and selfies. Tilt Locked suits push-in/pull-out and lateral moves. FPV follows the handle freely for immersive shots; FPV⊥ keeps the camera perpendicular to the handle on power-on or recenter.
5Settings
How to get there: Swipe down > Settings
Auto Power Off
Set to: Off or longest
Why: A long capture must not be interrupted by auto power off. Craft recommendation, not from the manual.
6Storage
How to get there: Swipe down, then swipe left
Storage
Set to: microSD with free space
Why: Check storage before a long capture; switch between internal and microSD here.
Also formats the selected storage. Formatting deletes everything; back up first.
